What are you kidding? You'll start getting more "EXP" than you need for any one level long before you have access to that much "EXP".

I'm going to go make a new table flipper.

But if you didn't get that much XP you would be 'losing' since part of the goal is to dump all those extra XPs into Mastery levels, for secret skills.

Me thinks this deserves deeper investigation. Personally I wouldn't mind setting up a testing machine, try a large number of possibilities, and come up with a table of results we could then discuss. But I fear that my results may not always be conclusive due to power fluctuations in the area that may affect processor performance. Anyone running their computer behind an UPS?

... or we better off just testing this for, hmm, say 8 hours and present their results? Here's mine:

Sorry, but unless the latest versions changed anything, that's a no; even after a rebirth, mastery does nothing but give some sort of bragging rights.

Anyway, I was only talking about how quickly you could game the exaggeration of "EXP" versus "Damage" to get more than enough "EXP" for any given level before you have enough "EXP" to be at level 600. I didn't say anything about quitting at that point.

Assuming I ever finish it, I want to make a flash game about feeling good with yourself:

You play a person feeling good about himself by watching fat people on a TV screen. But beware, the more fat people you see, the more fat people will want to become thin and your satisfaction levels will drop. The sequel will follow the adventures of this player character as he moves to watching people smoking. It will also introduce the possibility of forming a party with NPC friends and extra feeling-good points will be awarded by making comments about the people on the screen. (hint: compassionate comments are worth more.)

    Hope it becomes viral.

I double checked, it's hardcoreness that gives the special abilities, also, it looks like the exp starts using scientific notation if you let it build enough.

Yep. Separately confirmed, it is "Hardcoreness" that rewards the regular perks.

I was wrong about "Mastery" doing nothing but giving bragging rights; it now really does give you bonus points and extra points per level for each reincarnation.

They apparently fixed a few glitches I had been so vocal about at the time.
